Special Features At the time of installation in June, 2012, this 3,500 sq. ft. photovoltaic panel array was the largest privately owned installation in the state of Iowa. This array generates 104% of Sky Factory’s power needs, making them the first solar-powered light manufacturing business in the state.
Ideal Energy made Sky Factory’s long-time desire for solar power happen. They walked us through the engineering, finances, and incentives, making sure we understood each step of the process. They worked right through the weather to get the system up and generating sun power in a timely manner. We really enjoyed working with Ideal Energy, and our system is generating electricity as projected. We ended up with a leading-edge solar array and good friends, too.
