We like contributing to a cleaner healthy environment, and with all of the incentives available, solar seemed like a prudent investment. Plus, for a geek like me it looks cool and gives me bragging rights with my eco minded friends. Ideal Energy worked with us to come up with a creative location and design for our solar array. My wife is a gardener, and blocking her southern exposure garden area was a non-starter.  Besides, the south facing array seemed so industrial and didn’t feel right for our cozy little community. We decided on an east/west option, which was only about 12% less efficient it is far more esthetically pleasing.

I built my home 14 years ago, but it didn’t feel complete until I added the 42 solar panels last year. Knowing that I am generating clean energy on my property to fuel my home brings me great satisfaction.
